Winter

Winter

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the season! Winter is definitely here, it’s freezing right now and it inspired me to write this poem that I’m sharing with you all today. I hope you enjoy it!

Winter

The days, they darken early
And the temperature goes down
Autumn takes her final bow
Now winter wears the crown

It creeps up very slowly
Hardly noticeable at all
But before you even know it
You’ll be rolling fresh snowballs

Some people hide away from it
And live life in denial
Others scrunch their faces
And for weeks refuse to smile

It doesn’t last forever though
With seasons, that’s the thing
Autumn turns to winter
But then winter turns to spring

As always, thank you for reading my words, it really means a lot!

Until next time,

George
