A Life in Contradiction

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the strangeness of people and about how our very nature sometimes doesn’t make sense. Anyway, it inspired this little rhyme that I’m sharing with you today, so I hope you enjoy it!

A Life in Contradiction

I’ve always loved winter
But I hate getting cold
I like getting older
but don’t wanna get old

I like to stay silent
Yet incessantly chat
I’m such a dog person
But I really love cats

I love reading horror
But not being scared
I like my own things
Though I have always shared

I really love Christmas
Though, religious? I’m not.
I love a hot chocolate
Just not when it’s hot

And while I do struggle
With this darned infliction
I do think life’s better
Lived in contradiction

I hope you enjoyed that, and I wonder how many of you are as contradictory as me?

As always, thank you for spending your time with me, I really appreciate it.

Until next time,

George
