Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. I’m sharing another poem with you today, and I hope you enjoy it!
Autumn Made
When the air turns colder,
And daylight starts to fade,
A gentleness drifts over me,
A calm thats autumn made.
The trees release their burdens,
Leaves tumbling through the air,
Effortlessly, floating free,
Like me, without a care.
The sky wears softer colours,
And the winds are crisp but kind,
And in this peaceful season,
I can leave my weight behind.
Let summer keep its brightness,
It’s blaze that pressed me small;
In autumn’s open, quiet air
I breathe and stand up tall.
Thank you, as ever, for reading my words!
Until next time,
George
