She

She

Hello everyone. This is a little poem I wrote that I thought I would share with you all. I hope you enjoy it!

She

She had always been so wondrous
A vision in green and blue
Twirling against the blackness
An extraordinary view

She had always been so protective
A watchful eye she’d keep
And she’d sing to all her children
Her love for them so deep

She had always been so perfect
But it all started to go wrong
Her children ran her ragged
And stopped listening to her song

She had always been so giving
But now there’s nothing left
Her children have taken everything
And now she weeps, bereft

She had always been so alive
But soon she will have passed
Her features once were vibrant
But now she’s fading fast

She had always been so supportive
But was never supported in return
Her children were all she lived for
And in her grieving heart, they burn

As always, thanks for spending your time with my words, I really do appreciate it!

Until next time,

George
