Plant A Tree

Plant a tree wherever you've space

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! I’m sharing a poem with you today. I hope you enjoy it.

Plant A Tree

The trees are disappearing
They’re Vanishing out of sight
Chopped and burnt by humans
Earth’s infesting, festering blight

Trees are the lungs of the planet
And they give food and shelter too
Without them, the world’d be grey and bleak
Instead of green and blue

We’re stealing the homes of wildlife
We’re stealing oxygen from the air
I worry that it will be far too late
By the time we finally care

So plant a tree wherever you’ve space
To replenish what’s being lost
Destroying our rainforests and wooded lands
Comes at much to high a cost

As always, thanks for spending your valuable time reading my words, I really appreciate it!

Until next time

George
