There’s Something About a Christmas Tree

There's Something About A Christmas Tree

Hi everyone! I’ve been getting into the spirit of things recently in regards to Christmas—as you may have been able to glean from my previous Christmassy posts—and I’ve written a poem about my love of Christmas trees that I’m sharing with you today. I hope you like it!

There’s Something About a Christmas Tree

There’s something about a Christmas tree
That takes me back in time
To Christmas plays and Santa Claus
And singing Christmas rhyme

There’s something about a Christmas tree
That fills me with delight
The glittery baubles, and tinsel too
And every colour of light

There’s something about a Christmas tree
That reminds me so of home
Sitting snuggled in the cosy warmth
With hot chocolate and a festive tome

There’s something about a Christmas tree
And no matter what my age
You’ll always find one in my house
Taking centre stage

As always, thank you for reading my words, I really do appreciate it!

Until next time,

George
