Tears

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and that you’re all feeling creatively fulfilled. I’m sharing another poem with you today. I hope you enjoy it.

Tears

Sometimes I think I’ve cried so much
That by now I should have no tears
Surely they’ve been all used up
Filling buckets all these years

I think my tear ducts must have rusted
From such heavy overuse
Surely they’ll have shrunk and withered
From decades of salty abuse

I think that it’d be impossible
To have any more left to cry
And then, they’re falling heavily
Like raindrops from the sky

As always, thank you for reading my words, it really does mean a lot that you’ve chosen to spend a few minutes of your time reading my content!

Until next time,

George
