Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well. I’m sharing another poem with you today, I hope you enjoy it!
September Rain
Thick and gloomy clouds of grey
Cry down a September rain
As tiny, cold and misty drops
Catch on my windowpane
I watch them land like teardrops
As they leave their trailing streaks
Rolling down the window
Just like tears roll down cheeks
And for a time I am beholden
Mesmerised, stood still
Listening intently
As I rest against the sill
I love the sound of rainfall
Pattering against the glass
It helps me to find the mental strength
To climb out of my morass
As always, thank you so much for spending your time with me and my words. I really do appreciate it!
Until next time,
George
