Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and that you’re all eagerly pursuing whatever it is that brings you happiness. Today I’m sharing a poem with you – I hope you enjoy it.

In the Silence

Sometimes I need silence
To just be with myself
I need some time that’s just for me
To look after my mental health

Sometimes I need silence
I need my mind to still
I need the world to stop a while
So I can allow my tears to spill

Sometimes I need silence
To set myself apart
To be alone and selfish
To heal the aches within my heart

Sometimes I need silence
Because in the silence I am free
I can leave the world alone a while
And have time to just be me
