A World Without Difference

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all keeping well and that you’re all finding ways to express your own creativity and individuality! I’m sharing a poem with you today. I hope you enjoy it.

A World Without Difference

Imagine a world in uniform
All people, all things, the same
Where there’s nothing to define us
‘Cept for the sounds that make our names

In such a world, there could be no art
Creativity could not survive
There’d be no books or music
And we’d all live the same lives

There’d be no self-expression
Individuality would be repressed
The world would become less vibrant
If we all just acquiesced

If we were all just carbon copies
Of a cookie-cutter shape
Society would be stagnated
Across the entire global scape

So, uniqueness should be treasured
We should be embracing everyone
And celebrating our differences
Instead of wishing there were none

As always, thank you for reading my words, it really means the world!

Until next time,

George
