Hi everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the weather. It’s a nice and breezy morning up here in the north, which makes a change from the sweltering heat we’ve had of late. Anyway, I’m sharing a poem with you today, I hope you enjoy it!

Cosmically Connected

Within each and every one of us
There is a cosmic strand
That links every plant and animal
And every grain of sand

It makes up every molecule
Of every single thing
It made the lion’s roar
Its why the whales all sing

So remember, if you would
That we’re all made from cosmic dust
So there’s no heed to be hateful
No need for mistrust

There’s no such thing as different
Were all uniquely the same
So let’s all come together
And all join in the game

For if we don’t unite as one
As a single human race
We’ll be our own undoing
And lose our cosmic place

Be kind to one another
And keep this simple fact in mind
We’re all intrinsically connected
By the cosmic ties that bind
