What I Wouldn’t Give

What I Wouldn't Give

Hi all, this is another poem I’ve written and would like to share with you. I hope you enjoy it!

What I Wouldn’t Give

What I wouldn’t give to leave this place
And travel among the stars
To see the Sun’s majestic grace
And frolic on the surface of Mars

What I wouldn’t give to escape for a while
To float freely and without care
To fly through space a trillion miles
And see what life’s like there

What I wouldn’t give to see all the sights
In our universe so vast
To be able to name every light
Of stars future and of past

What I wouldn’t give to return one day
To find that people are getting along
Working together in every way
And humanity still going strong

As always, thanks for stopping by to read my words, I really appreciate your time!

Until next time,

George
