Ode to a Christmas Tree

Ode to a Christmas Tree

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and that you’ve all had an amazing holiday season. Can you believe that it’s almost the end of the year again? it feels as though we’re just zipping through the days doesn’t it? Anyway, I’m sharing a poem today. I hope you enjoy it!

Ode to a Christmas Tree

Dear beloved Christmas tree
I fear it’s time for you to go
And although your time with us was short
I just wanted you to know

That your majestic beauty
Has brought much joy upon our home
And no tree could be found prettier
No matter how far you’d roam

With baubles and lights atwinkle
And with tinsel of red, and gold
You have sparkled and shone so brightly
Your warmth banishing the cold

We’ll all miss you when you’ve gone
The living room will be so bare
I’ll be passing your empty corner
And I’ll wish you were still there

I won’t have long to wait though
Until you come around again
With your branches reaching out to me
Like the arms of an old friend

You’ve truly been tremendous
And we’ve really enjoyed your stay
We cant wait to see you here again
Ready for next Christmas day

As always, thank you very much for spending some of your valuable time with my words – it means the world!

Until next time,

George
