Sunset/Sunrise

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! I’m sharing a poem with you today, I hope you enjoy it.

Sunset/Sunrise

Shades of fiery colour collide
In a war of exploding light
As the deep azure of the daytime sky
Is enshrouded by the night

Dipping beneath the horizon
The sun will bid adieu
Its sleepy eyes now heavy
Giving the waking moon its cue

now the sun will slumber
And after a peaceful rest
It’ll awaken and smile down over the east
Before beginning its journey west

As always, thank you so much for reading, it really means a lot.

Until next time,

George
