Hi everyone I hope you’re all off to a great start with the new year and I hope that those of you who’ve made resolutions are managing to keep them! In fact, it was a resolution of my own which helped to inspire the poem I’m sharing today – and that was: to work harder on writing and make it a priority again. We mustn’t let obstacles get in the way and slow us down too much; otherwise, we risk never achieving our goals. Anyway, I’m going on too much, I hope you enjoy it!
Chase your Dreams
Chase the dream that thrills you most
That singular desire
That dream that lives within your soul
And fills your heart with fire
Chase the dream that fills your thoughts
The one that keeps you up at night
The dream that powers your very core
And makes the future bright
Chase your dream with passion
And let your ambition thrive
Remember, life is fleeting
So live while you’re alive!
