Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and that you’re all trying to live your best creative lives. I’m sharing a poem today, I hope you enjoy it!
Still Time Left to Dance
There’s still time left to dance, you know
Time to conga down the street
To Charleston across a crosswalk
And let your feet tap out a beat
There’s still time left to tango
Time to partner up and move
To initiate and be intimate
(As long as both parties approve)
There’s still time left to waltz your way
Through the maladies of living
To wave your arms and swing your hips
To the rhythm the music’s giving
There’s still time left to live, you know
There’s no need for life to stall
You can go anywhere and be anything
So go and do it all
As always, thanks so much for spending your valuable time with me today!
Until next time,
George

Thanks, George.
Your poem is uplifting, and it rhymes — too uncommon in poetry nowadays.

Thanks, Kathy! I have to admit I’m a sucker for a good rhyme 🙂
