The Passing of Another Year

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas, and I’m sure you all found yourselves on the ‘nice’ list.

I can’t believe we’re at the end of December again already. It seems as though I blink and another whole year has gone by.

Today, I’m sharing another poem with you. I hope you enjoy it.

The end of the year is upon us
And there’s excitement in the air
As we dance to the beat of the music
And shake away our cares

Fireworks burst above our heads
Sparking, colourful delights
That fall just like light drizzle
Poking holes into the night

There’s food and drink aplenty
And we’re in a party vibe
We’re just living in the moment
Celebrating for our lives

And as the night draws closer
Through the merriment and cheer
We feel glad just to have made it
To see the passing of another year
