Brush the Messiness Away

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well. Today I’m sharing another poem with you, I hope you enjoy it!

Brush The Messiness Away

Sometimes when the wind is strong
And roaring fiercely through the trees
I sit beside my window
My arms wrapped tight around my knees

And I listen with my eyes closed
And focus solely on the din
Letting the sound of it crash over me
Quieting the voices from within

There’s a certain sort of peace that comes
It’s like a comforting embrace
A hug from mother nature
That helps to slow the pace

It’s easy to get so caught up
In the messes of every day
But its important to take a moment
To brush the messiness away

As always, thank you so much for reading my words!

Until next time,

George
