Within the Firelight

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and enjoying life! I’m sharing a poem today and I hope you enjoy it!

There is wonder and enchantment
In flames so warm and bright
As they lap and leap and crackle
With such dangerous delight

Watching the burning orange flames
Such an entrancing sight
One becomes a little lost
Within the firelight

And should you be watching closely
You may be witness to the sprites
The living spirits of the fire
That’s burning in the night
