Learn to Live Another Day

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. I’m sharing another poem with you today, and I hope you enjoy it.

We say we want to live in peace
We’d like to make all equal
But it’s hard when hatred runs amok
And every war has a sequel

We say we’d like to find a balance
Between the things we want and need
But there’re so many in the world today
Who find it hard to even feed

So how can we make it better
How can we change our lives?
How can we make it so every human
Has an equal chance to survive?

We’ll all have to make an effort
We can’t do it overnight
But humans are strong and mighty
and we can all direct that might

And bit by bit, by working hard
We can find a better way
We can build a brighter future
And learn to live another day
