Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! I’m sharing another poem today, I hope you enjoy it!

The Journey

With heavy feet, I’ve walked this Isle
Through sunshine, rain and chill
Step by step and mile by mile
Pushed on by force of will

On and on through every trial
Taking every bitter pill
Moving with the rank and file
Leashed to life’s anvil

And on I’ll go with a weary smile
Over many a moor and hill
Until its time to rest a while
And sit and just be still
