Tell Me A Story

Tell Me A Story

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and full of creative energy! I’m sharing a poem today, I hope you enjoy it!

Tell me a Story

Tell me a story to ease my mind
And quiet my deafening thoughts
To give my stormy consciousness
Some rest in a peaceful port

Tell me a tale that soothes the spirit
And that calls me to calmer shores
Where I can tend to all my battle scars
Away from my mental wars

Regale me with a fable of old
And distract me just for a spell
Inspire me with strength and wisdom
That I might use to flee my hell

Then one day when you will need it most
I’ll repay you fully in kind
With a poultice made of stories
Medicine for the mind

As always, thank you for reading my words; it means the world!

Until next time,

George
