Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having creatively fulfilling and productive days. I’m sharing a poem today – I hope you enjoy it!

You

Late at night, when I’m alone
And my thoughts turn morose and dark
I think of you and your comforting ways
and you ignite in me a spark

I think of words you’d be apt to say
Your voice echoes in my mind
Your image lights my darkened heart
Your eyes big and bright and kind

You make me feel that I’m alive
And you give me strength each day
And on those days, when it’s too much
You make me feel that it’s okay

Your understanding of my issues
Makes the darkened times worthwhile
I’m so thankful for your consistent strength
And your ability to make me smile
