Hello everyone, I had a bit of spare time so I thought I’d post this poem I’ve been working on. I hope you all enjoy it!
Tomorrow is another day
Leave today here in the past
You’re not the first to screw things up
And you certainly won’t be the last
Tomorrow is the future
A blank slate lies ahead
All you have to do to fill it
Is get your butt up out of bed
Don’t wallow in self-pity
And be glad that you’re alive
Step forward and begin again
Make changes to help you strive
The past will haunt you if you let it
Silly arguments lost and won
But now you’re gonna have to grow up
It’s time to get things done
Don’t give in to the voices
That say you’re worthless in your head
You’re worth more than you think you are
Try to think positively instead
Stay focused on the important stuff
Be more outgoing, and try to smile
Be happy and enjoy yourself
Life only lasts a little while
As always, thanks for reading my words! you can check out more poetry here if you’d like.
Until next time,
George

This is a wonderful poem, and it is important to not get bogged down by things you’ve done in the past
