Hi everyone. I wrote this poem with everyone I’ve ever lost in mind, and I thought that I’d share it with all of you. I hope you enjoy it.
I Wonder If You’re Out There
I wonder if you’re out there
I would like to think you are
I’d like to believe you guide me
Like my very own North Star
I wonder if you can hear me
When I talk to you at night
When I wish that wishes did come true
When I wish with all my might
I wonder if you’re watching
If you are, I hope you see
That I live my life for both of us
I hope you’re proud of me
I wonder if you can feel it
How much I miss you here
You will always be remembered
I will always hold you dear
As always, thanks for spending your valuable time reading my words, I appreciate it.
Until next time,
George

This is wonderful, reminds me that when thinking of family and friends I have lost, others are feeling the same pain, thinking the same thoughts.

Thank you! Yeah it can feel like we’re the only ones grieving when we feel it. I think that’s just because we can’t imagine anyone else feeling like that. Thanks for the comment 😊
