Dare to Dream

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! I’m sharing a poem with you today. I hope you enjoy it!

Dare to Dream

They said that I was foolish
‘Cause I dreamed up a whole world
Where music touches and entangles you
With each and every twirl

I dreamed of a world that’s vibrant
Of a world where songs are cheered
A world wherein dark corners
Are much lighter than they first appeared

I dreamed of magic and of romance
I dreamed of sunny autumn days
I dreamed all life is treated equally
In every single way

I dreamed a world full of kindness
Full of proffered helping hands
I dreamed every belly was full of food
All across the land

I dreamed a world that’s safe for all
Where hatred is laid to rest
Where human can live with human
And we all just do our best

They said that I was foolish
Because that world does not exist
But I’m certain that it’s possible
If we allow dreaming to persist

As always, thank you so much for reading my words, I really do appreciate it!

Until next time,

George
