Beneath an Indigo Sky

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! It’s that time of the week again and today, I’m sharing another poem. I Hope you enjoy it.

Beneath an Indigo sky

Standing beneath an indigo sky
We watch stars twinkle like diamond eyes
And listen to the woodland creatures cry
As we all await the moon

It moves from behind the misty clouds
Wrapped around it like a cotton shroud
And we howl and roar and scream aloud
With the night, we all commune

Then, after releasing our primal cries
We offer up heartfelt goodbyes
And promise to return on full moon’s reprise
To proffer our wildling tune

As always, thank you very much for reading my words, I really do appreciate it.

Until next time,

George
