Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and that life is getting back to some semblance of normality for you – if indeed that is possible wherever you are in the world. Today, I’m sharing a poem with you all and I hope you enjoy it.

At the End of the Day

The day is ending calmly, calmly
With the sun a molten ball
Caramel Melting, slowly, slowly
As the horizon swallows it all

The day is ending gently, gently
The moon, a silvery eye
Watching the people sleep peacefully, peacefully
From her inky starlit sky

The day is ending sleepily, sleepily
And a new one waits to be born
When the people will awaken happily, happily
With a big stretch and a yawn
