Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. Today, I’m sharing another poem with you. I hope you enjoy it.
Sunny Day Blues
I don’t enjoy the sunshine,
I much prefer the gloom.
I’d rather not be catching rays,
But be shaded in my room.
I hate the smell of barbecues,
And the sun’s radiant glow.
I’d much prefer the winter,
And the chill of falling snow.
The sun doesn’t make me happy,
It’s shine doesn’t light my fuse,
If anything, it’s the opposite;
It gives me the sunny day blues.
Thank you, as always, for spending a few moments with my words. It really means a lot!
Until next time,
George

Ha ha, that made me laugh. Yes I have lived in a hot country and longed for some English grey drizzle!
