If Only…

If only rivers flowed backwards
Reversing the sands of time
Clearing mist from my memories
And rewinding back my mind

If only i could go far back
To days when magic was real
A time when hugs healed ev’rything
And I was unafraid to feel

If only the days could rewind
And we lived it all again
Reliving all the highs and lows
All the pleasures and the pain
