All The Things They Said To Me

Hi everyone! I hope you’re well. Today I am sharing another poem with you, and I hope you enjoy it.

All the things they said to me
The bullies and all their drones
Are still entrenched deep within
Held by chains around my bones

Night times are the worst to bear
When they writhe beneath my skin
Chinking against my ribcage
My heart thundering within

They echo through my body
And amplify in my head
Resounding ever louder
As they keep me from my bed

Words may appear harmless
But their power can be strong
All the things they said to me
Have stuck my whole life long
