Hi everyone I hope you’re all well. I’m sharing a poem with you today. I hope you enjoy it.
The Final Bell
The final bell will always toll
For us all, I’d hasten to add
It tolls for young and old alike
For everyone, good and bad
It peals across the landscape
And it is ignorant of wealth
It can be heard by those as sick as dogs
And by those in perfect health
And when it rings, this final bell
There will be nothing to discuss
No bargaining will save you
So you needn’t make a fuss
The end will come, as it must for all
But just when, well, who can tell?
You’ll only know your time is up
With the toll of the final bell
As always, thanks for reading my words and spending some of your time with me today.
Until next time,
George
