I Think I Saw A Ghost Tonight

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! I’m sharing another poem with you today. I hope you enjoy it!

I think I saw a ghost tonight
Was it you, just standing there?
Was it you who chilled the bedroom
And caused the raising of my hair?

I could have sworn the room grew darker
In the corner, by the door
And I pulled my blankets closer
When I heard the creaking of the floor

Was it you, that patch of blackness
That was blocking out the light
And whose voice whispered in my ear
As I shut my eyes up tight

I think I saw a ghost tonight
Was it my mind just playing tricks?
Or was there some otherworldly being
Scaring me for kicks?
