Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. Today, I’m sharing another poem. I hope you enjoy it.

The Bargain

I sold my soul to feel devotion
And was flooded with bright and pure emotion
So much it could match the deepest ocean
My blood like a train in locomotion

I sold my soul to think much lighter
For a someone to make my world grow brighter
To hold me still and hold me tighter
To help me be a stronger fighter

I sold my soul to learn to speak
To say out loud when I feel weak
To whisper softly upon a cheek
And ask for help when life is bleak

I sold my soul to help me see
That deep within me is the key
To live and love and be fully free
And find one who understands me
