A Rush of Rainbows

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. I’m sharing another short poem with you today, and I hope you enjoy it!

Leave me be and let me rest
I need a moment to digest
These feelings that I once repressed
Before they overwhelm me

Dark and bleak is all I felt
Before my heart began to melt
When I removed the safety belt
And set my feelings free

A rush of rainbows flowing out
Devouring all my fears and doubts
What was within, is now without
For everyone to see
