Morning Desire

Hi everyone! How are you all? I’m sharing a poem with you today, and I hope you enjoy it.

Tall, dark and pleasing to the eye,
There’s no way to resist you
No matter how hard I try.

The febrile excitement I get when you’re near
Is too much to contain,
It’s too much to bear!

At night, you leave my mind on fire!
And then, when the morning comes,
You are my only desire.
