Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. I’m sharing another poem with you today, and I hope you enjoy it.
Remnants
We are beings made from other things
Of remnants from before
Bits of dust and particle
Washed up from starry shores
We are stars that are, by now, long dead
Remade to shine anew
All atoms reconfigured
A metaphysical redo
Recombinants of ancient grit
Formed in hot destruction
What was becoming what is
Coalescing without instruction
We’re just particles crammed together
Flesh, bone, brilliance
Built to thrive within this cycle
Leaning on our resilience
Thank you, as ever, for stopping by to read my words.
Until next time,
George
