Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge: Things I’ve Learned From Another WWBC Blogger

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well. Today is Wednesday, and it’s time for another post in the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge hosted by Long and Short Reviews. If you’d like to participate in the challenge, you can find the list of topics for 2024 here. If you are interested in reading other people’s responses to this week’s topic, you can do so here.

Things I’ve Learned From Another WWBC Blogger

I have learned so much from and about many of you, my fellow bloggers.

In the two years that I have been taking part in the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge, we have discussed myriad topics, and the things I have learned are almost too numerous to mention.

Mostly, though, through reading about you all and all your posts, I have actually learned a lot about myself. For instance, I used to think that some of my interests and tastes were a little unique, but what I have discovered is that we are all more similar than we are different.

Many of you even have the same sense of humour as me, which, as you can imagine, I appreciate. Taking part in this blog hop makes the world feel less big and scary and reminds me that I am not just screaming (or writing) into the big dark void.

Throughout my time taking part, I have learned that pigeons do not seem to hold grudges like crows and that ‘ambiverts’ are a thing!

On top of all of that, I have also discovered some interesting books to add to my TBR list!

Overall, you all seem like lovely, interesting people, and I am glad I jumped on this train.

Well, that’s me for post 45!

As always, thanks for spending some time here with me today. I really appreciate it.

Until next time,

George

Great answer! And I agree. It’s fascinating to find that the more we as humans learn about each other, the more we seem to learn about ourselves. I have also found this to be true (for me, at least) in fiction as well. As a character works through a challenge or emotional struggles that must be dealt with, that reflection as they are figuring things out often makes me reflect and grow as well. It’s amazing how humanity can adapt in these ways. I love that these blog hops also helped you feel less alone. That’s always a wonderful feeling, and this community is a good example of that.

    • I agree that fiction can be so relevant to our lives! We can learn all sorts of things through the experiences of different characters because, more often than not, the author is writing about their real human experiences.
